National Career Development Association Contains conference information, professional materials and resources, and more!

Association for Career and Technical Education The largest national education association dedicated to the advancement of education that prepares youth and adults for careers, ACTE offers links to assist classroom teachers, legislative news from Washington, and business-education partnerships.

National Board for Certified Counselors and Affiliates The only official website for National Board Certified Counselors.

Association for Assessment in Counseling Provides various information on standards, journals, etc.

American Counseling Association Contains resources and books, as well as information on upcoming conferences and events.

CACREP: Council for Accreditation for Counseling and Related Educational Programs The CACREP website is provided as a service to students, educators, and those interested in the helping professions.

(ERIC) Clearinghouse on Assessment and Evaluation Provide balanced information concerning educational assessment, evaluation and research methodology.

ERIC/AE Test Locator Locate test reviews, browse the test database, or read the code of fair testing practices. Also features test selection tips.

Buros Institute of Mental Measurements Provides some basic descriptive information on thousands of tests.

American Psychological Association This brochure provides information on psychological tests, generally, and on the importance of ensuring that tests are appropriate with regard to a child's cultural background and language, specifically. Also included are suggestions which would help parents to assure the use of appropriate psychological tests.

APA Science FAQ The APA Science Directorate answers hundreds of calls and emails each year from persons trying to locate the right test or find more information about psychological tests. APA neither sells nor endorses testing instruments, but it does provide guidance in using available resources to find psychological tests. Answers to frequently asked questions are provided here.

Employees Assistance Professionals Association (EAPA) EAPA is the association for persons in the employee assistance program field. Their mission is to promote the highest standards of practice and the continuing development of employee assistance professionals, programs and services.

The Society for Vocational Psychology The society is a Section in the Counseling Psychology Division (17) of the American Psychological Association. Their purpose is to encourage, promote, and facilitate contributions to research, teaching, practice, and public interest in vocational psychology and career interventions.
